Is there a policy on revealing alts?
Players may reveal their own alts to anyone they choose. However, other people's alts are NOT FOR DISCUSSION. Please respect others' privacy as you would like yours to be respected. If you are found to have done this, punitive measures will be taken.
Staff may not reveal to non-staff whose alts are whose. Please treat them like you would the personal information in players' @register attribute. If you are found to have done this, punitive measures will be taken.
Can my alts interact? If one of my alts has an item, can he give it to the other?
Here is the Winter's Edge policy regarding interaction of same-player alts:
- You cannot give one of your alts information you know OOCly, or say your alt got information from another of your alts. This is cheating and will result in removal from the MUSH. However, If there is information that is passed from your alt to another PC, who then passes it to your other alt without you prompting them, that is legitimate.
- You may not exchange goods, money, or items of any sort between your alts, even if another player is used as an intermediary. This is cheating and will result in removal from the MUSH.
- If a large roleplay scene happens, you can have two alts in a scene when DM staff permits it (such as a city wide faire) - they simply cannot interact.
